Thank you so much for providing the link. I am still convinced that somewhere in the code is a table of acceptable operating systems - and W11 is not among them! Since this machine was able to jump Microsoft's high hurdle to install W11, I am sure that it is not deficient. After installing the linked version and finding that backgrounds were still unsupported, I checked for updates. That version was 5. I hoped that Mepemep's success was because Zoom had slipped in a sly fix, but I was disappointed.

What did you do to get a virtual background to work on Windows 11? I was in touch with Zoom just today and they said Windows 11 does not support a virtual background and I should "work around" on another machine.
Not an option and Zoom is no help! Sorry Zoom but this is ridiculous! Especially for paying customers!
